Alabama native and visual artist, Jasalyn Meriwether began her photography journey after the birth of her second Sonshine. For years she'd taken an affectionate interest in capturing life's most intimate moments, until in 2019 she decided to take a leap of faith! After a few months of honing in on her skills and studying technique, photography proved to be just the freedom her soul needed and craved. Combining her love for art and interacting with people from all walks of life, this was the beginning of something truly special.
Her growing passion for various forms of photography allows her the opportunity to connect personally with each client and deliver a one-of-a-kind experience.
Life is lived in seconds, yielding something truly special in each one that we'll never have an opportunity to replay. Photography is an art-form that allows Creators that right of passage to hold firm to those tender memories. We are able to capture the tears falling from the father who sees his daughter moments before taking on her new role of wife-hood, the excitement of a son surprised by the return of his father after a long military tour, or the screams of a mother while giving birth. It's LIFE !!
